Behind Punarvasu

I launched Punarvasu, in the beginning of this month and it has been so wonderful to be able to share something every weekend. I love planning all the different topics that I want to share with you, the writing behind it and the illustration that goes with it…Today, I thought I would share a bit about myself and my interests.

I am a Leo Girl. Playfulness! Comes naturally to me and I love kids.

I love nature, rain and mountains.

Currently I am loving being a plant mom.

I got six new plants on my Birthday this year. I am certainly not the one with a green thumb but so far all plant babies are great!

I love colors; Pink is my favorite color.

Drawing and filling in colors were my favorite things as a kid.

And I grew up to follow it professionally as an Architect.

I love chai and music (Old Hindi songs are very healing)

Recently, I have taken an affinity to feeding birds who stop by my balcony; Mostly crows and sometimes a few sparrows

Lastly, I have 100% Indian genes from the most beautiful souls

Sharing this post was super important to me. I worked on the introductory graphic this entire week and am very happy to share it.

I have always been a very internal person…someone who likes being behind the scenes. This year has been very meditative for me and it led to the inception of this platform where I want to share my study of Vedic Astrology.

Once I start something, I have a tendency to become super engrossed with it and most of my efforts are either towards expanding it or continuously being on the go. I generally shy away from celebrating myself and the work that goes behind my work. So this time around, I want to be more mindful about my process and want to keep reminding myself to sneak in a few hours to treat myself.

I had so much fun making this graphic and with this I want to show you the face behind Punarvasu, a bit of my work space and a few of my other interest beside Astrology.

I hope this adds more value to Punarvasu and also inspires you to follow your dreams and passions. I have learnt that when you trust your authenticity and start putting yourself and your work out there, the universe opens up to you.
